WEDDING INFORMATION

 

Our on-site outdoor Wedding Chapel has actual church pew seating for approximately 80 guests. We have extra white chairs for more than that in your party. Our chapel is enclosed with charming white picket fence sections, white lattice and a latticed arbor for the Clergy. We have speakers located throughout our grounds so if you would prefer CD's along with any other music , we have that available. And of course, we also have a special little hide-a-way to keep the Bride out of sight until the ceremony.

 

A Note To The Bride-To - Be:

First of all, Congratulations! As you consider us as a location for your wedding ceremony, please read through our information carefully so you understand what we offer. Yes, this is The Crazy Ladies House but we can assure you, all silliness aside, that we take marriage and your special day very seriously. We understand that if you do choose us....we want your wedding day to go smoothly. Obviously you are looking for a unique and fun twist to your ceremony and we think we're it! Please take a moment to jot down any questions or special requests and we will work with you to help your ceremony to be a memorable one.

Goin' To The Chapel

As you are well aware, we are a 7 Day A Week Retail Business. We also host groups for Lunches and Charter Bus Tours. During your wedding, it may be a possibility that you might have customers that want to attend your wedding. That's right, complete strangers! Everyone loves a wedding! It is also possible that you might have 20 to 30 women in large hats and outlandish clothing sit in on your wedding. (Of course they must stand if seating is taken by your actual invited guests.) Or there may be people wandering the Diva Village or elsewhere on our grounds. That's just the way it is...we will not stop others from attending your wedding....it IS The Crazy Ladies House! You must be fully aware of that you you must agree to that BEFORE you decide to book your wedding ceremony with us.

Before You Say "I Do"

You may decorate our outdoor chapel area if you like but it must be cleaned up and taken with you after the ceremony. You are respondsible for arranging and paying for Clergy/Justice of The Peace, Flowers, Photographer, Music, etc. plus and additional wedding costs. If you do not have your own, we will assist you in finding what you need.

O Promise Me

If you have arrangements with a photographer, you may do your photo shoot anywhere on our grounds either before or after your ceremony. Please be aware that if there happens to be other weddings held on the same day as yours, we give you a ceremony time allotment of two (2) hours. This includes guests arriving and departing, ceremony and any photo shoot in the chapel are. How you choose your two hours is entirely up to you and should be stated when booking your wedding date.

PARKING: Please make your guests aware that we have a special designated parking area for them. We prefer they don't park in our everyday customer parking area.

MAPPING FOR YOUR GUESTS: When "map questing" for location of your ceremony. Please state on your map that the ceremony IS The Crazy Ladies House. Don't just give the address. Guests don't realize that we offer weddings and are "very confused" when looking for their destination!

CHILDREN: You must have a designated and respondsible adult tending to all children whether they are guests or part of the wedding party. We do not allow children running through our store or disrupting other guests on our property. I'm sure you understand our point.

Just Married

Since we do have other guests wondering our grounds. We ask that your guests drive slowly and with caution as you leave The Crazy Ladies House to move to your reception. We do not allow alcohol on our property. Should there be a problem with that, we will ask you to leave The Crazy Ladies grounds and there will be no refund. Sorry but that's our rule.

Hey! The Honeymoon Ain't Over

We also welcome Anniversary and "Just Because" Vow Renewal Ceremonies too! What a fun and unique way to DO IT AGAIN! Won't your guests be surprised??!!??

It's Not Nice To Fool Mother Nature

We hear that if it rains on your Wedding Day, it's Good Luck! This is an outdoor wedding chapel - encourage your guests to bring an umbrella...just in case. We consider rain as Mother Nature's Holy Water. Mother Nature is a Crazy Lady too!

If you're looking for a unique place to hold your wedding ceremony, we invite you to consider The Crazy Ladies House. We invite wedding ceremonies on our grounds from May through October. Don't forget....it IS Minnesota! If you have any questions or special requests, we'll be glad to assist you.

*Receive a $25.00 credit towards your Wedding Chapel Rental if someone hosts a HandBagLunch Bridal Shower in your honor consisting of 20 or more persons. Of course, it's the Bride's Day so your meal is compliments of The Crazy Ladies House. The Bridal Shower must be held before the scheduled Wedding Day to be valid.
